Wilkes were approached by a property owner in Corfe Mullen who wanted to refurbish their large driveway, as the paving slabs had become faded over time.

We suggested Rippon Buff Paving for the job due to the assortment of natural colours provided, guaranteeing a brighter and more impactful driveway for the client and colour matching the existing brickwork of their home.

Before laying the new paving, we helped remove the old slabs and debris from the property with our grab muck away service to ensure that progress could continue unobstructed. We then provided 40mm scalps to act as a sub-base, before covering with Corfe 1 building sand to lay the groundwork for the new paving slabs.

Finally, the Rippon Buff Paving slabs were laid to achieve the final result, which, as seen in the images provided, is a great improvement and adds colour and brightness to what was before a muted and grey driveway.

The new paving creates a unique look that distinguishes the property from its surroundings and provides a warm and Mediterranean feel – perfect for those summer months!
